Tadhg Daly
Chief Executive
Tadhg is the chief spokesperson and representative of the organisation. The CEO reports to the Board of Directors and his key role is to promote the objectives of the organisation and to influence policy makers. The CEO’s role is to develop and maintain a positive relationship with all stakeholders including members, the general public, statutory and voluntary bodies which work to promote the best interests of older people, Government Departments, HSE, HIQA, NTPF and other relevant agencies.
Jeremy Hart
Membership & Operations Manager
Jeremy's role as Membership and Operations Manager is to ensure that our organisation is running as well as it possibly can, with a smooth efficient service that meets the expectations and needs of members.
Jeremy is in direct contact with members dealing with member queries and as a support to employees within the office who are providing advice and information to our members.
Jeremy’s role includes supporting the 10 NHI regions, including attendance at regional meetings, to ensure strong Member engagement and participation.

Sinead Morrissey
Practice Development Facilitator
With responsibility for all clinical matters directed through the organisation. Sinead represents NHI on a number of national and local working groups aimed at improving standards, educating and providing support and guidance to staff with the vision for improving the care given to our older population. In addition, the role of the Practice Development Facilitator is to review international practice and research to assist in the development of new initiatives within the Irish nursing home sector. Sinead reports to the Board of Directors through the CEO and assists in driving the agenda of the National Nursing Committee.

Michael McGlynn
Communications and Research Executive
With responsibility for managing the communications, research and information functions of Nursing Homes Ireland. Michael is responsible for the planning, development and delivery of NHI internal and external communications including media, website, member's communications and publications. Responsible for the research function of NHI to contribute to the wider policy objectives and work programme of the organisation.

Ciara Carty
HR & Employee Relations Specialist

Ciara’s role is to support Members by providing up to date HR, IR and Recruitment advice, information sheets, templates, training etc.
Ciara engages with a range of stakeholders in Workforce Planning, such as, the Department of Health, the Department of Jobs, Enterprise & Innovation, Department of Social Protection and the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Ireland, to ensure the workforce needs of the sector are represented and Members are kept up to date. Ciara also fulfils the Nursing Homes Ireland internal HR function.

Paula Lumsden
Events Co-ordinator
With responsibility for the co-ordination of all NHI events such as the NHI Annual Conference, NHI Care Awards and education and training days. Paula is also responsible for sponsorships and commercial opportunities.

Olivia Slater
Membership Liaison Officer

Olivia is the first point of contact for Members and ensures Member queries are responded to. She provides support for Member use and login to the NHI Members website and Portal. Members Regional Meetings are supported by Olivia through her correspondence regarding and arrangement of meetings.

Zowie Farrell
Accounts 
Zowie has responsibility for recording, preparing and presenting all aspects of NHI’s financial accounts, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and VAT returns.
Zowie issues Membership invoices and responds to Member queries relating to Membership fees, as well as payments for NHI events, Garda Vetting and sponsorship.

Anne O’Donoghue
Garda Vetting Administrator
With responsibility for all aspects of processing Garda Vetting applications from individual Nursing Homes with the Garda Central Vetting Unit, representative for Nursing Home Ireland in dealings with Garda Vetting Unit, managing vetting records on receipt of results.
