Tadhg Daly

Chief Executive of Nursing Homes Ireland (NHI)

Tadhg Daly is Chief Executive of Nursing Homes Ireland (NHI), the national representative body for the private and voluntary nursing home sector.

He was previously CEO of the Irish Nursing Homes Organisation and helped lead the establishment of NHI in 2008. Tadhg has over two decades’ experience in advocacy and management, including senior roles with the Irish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children. Under his leadership, NHI represents more than 360 nursing homes providing care to 27,000 residents and employing 35,000 staff.

A strong advocate for older people, Tadhg has led the sector through significant challenges, including the COVID-19 pandemic, with a steadfast focus on residents and staff.
