NHI CEO Appointed to Health and Social Care Professionals Council
Friday January 3, 2025We are delighted to announce that NHI CEO, Tadhg Daly, has been appointed by Minister for Health Stephen Donnelly to the Health and Social Care Professionals Council (CORU). This prestigious appointment highlights the vital role of our sector in addressing key workforce challenges and advocating for the professional recognition and registration of Health Care Assistants (HCAs).
CORU is responsible for regulating health and social care professionals in Ireland, fostering high standards of education, training, and professional conduct. As a member of the Council, Tadhg will contribute to shaping policies that promote the delivery of high-quality care and uphold public trust in the health and social care system.
As the representative body for private and voluntary nursing homes in Ireland, we are committed to advancing initiatives that ensure the highest standards of care and support within our sector.
Tadhg’s appointment underscores this commitment and provides a platform to influence positive change at a national level.
